Fans of Thala Ajith's Thunivu are celebrating the first single, Chilla Chilla, which has been rocking the playlist over the weekend, after months of anticipation. Now the rumor mill has attracted the attention of the ultimate star's anticipated Thunivu release date. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023.

The latest reports have surfaced that the trailer for the film will be released on the occasion of New Year's Day as a special treat for Ajith enthusiasts while the film is still in post-production. Hence, the film's trailer will premiere on December 31, as per speculating reports. The makers of the film, however, have not yet made a public official statement. There's been no word on when the movie's teaser will debut, either.

Thunivu is a commercial entertainer surrounding the theme of heists, banks, and money, and is written and directed by H. Vinoth. Also starring Samuthirakani, Manju Warrier, Amir, Pavani Reddy, Cibi Bhuvana and others, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios and will be released in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies

The film's music is composed by Ghibran, In addition to Supreme Sundar's stunt work and Vijay Velukutty's editing, Nirav Shah is in charge of the film's visuals. The majority of Thunivu was shot in Chennai and Hyderabad. Netflix bought the streaming rights to Thunivu, and Kalaignar TV bought the satellite rights.
