In a thrilling turn of events, Sivakarthikeyan, the actor who recently charmed audiences in the Pongal 2024 release ‘Ayalaan’, is set to embark on a new venture with an acclaimed director. The buzz in the industry is that he might join forces with AR Murugadoss, for SK23, the mastermind behind Thalapathy Vijay’s three blockbuster hits.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Sivakarthikeyan is also rumoured to collaborate with another prowess director Venkat Prabhu. Prabhu, currently directing Vijay’s ongoing film ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, has previously delivered the warmly received Tamil-Telugu bilingual film ‘Custody’, starring Naga Chaitanya.
Reports say that the duo may join forces once they both wrap up their current projects, possibly when Sivakarthikeyan completes SK 23. The film is said to be bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films. It will be interesting to witness the duo's collaboration, as they are both known for their witty performances.
The project may start in 2025. The actor is currently busy shooting for ‘SK 21’, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by Kamal Hassan’s RKFI. The film has Sai Pallavi as the female lead, who will be seen opposite Sivakarthikeyan for the first time.
Rajkumar Periasamy, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Rangoon. The film was officially launched on May 5 last year. The film is a biopic dramatizing the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a valiant army officer who gave his life for his country.
