After SS Rajamouli's RRR brought Jr. NTR into the limelight, the next film he will appear in is NTR30, an epic drama directed by Koratala Siva is the intruiging project for this year. Now that the film's pre-production is well under way, the newest rumour has the most exciting buzz on the film's antagonist. The musical score will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Sabu Cyril will oversee the art direction.

Most recently, word on the street has it that Vikram has been cast as the lead, with Saif Ali Khan as a second option. Seeing these two massive stars go head to head on screen would be spectacular, and the rumour of Vikram's inclusion in the film only makes it more intriguing as this will mark Vikram's first villaneous debut in Telugu. 

The movie was confirmed with a mind-blowing teaser video in May of last year. According to the sources, NTR30 is set in a semi-period setting on a fictitious island with a harbour. The cities of Hyderabad, Vizag, and Goa will serve as the primary filming locations. Eye treating VFX are going to be a big part of this movie.

As of this month, filming for NTR30 has begun, and the film is set to hit theatres on April 5, 2024. Meanwhile the Cobra actor Vikram is currently outing for Thangalan and he will be next seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2, Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, and possibly he will do a part in Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial. In addition to NTR30, the actor has plans to work with Prashanth Neel on NTR 31, which may star Aamir Khan in a pivotal role. Several reports also has that the actor to work with Vetrimaran for NTR32 and presumably Dhanush to play a part which is said to be a two part film.
