Kavin, the rising star of Tamil cinema, is on a roll with multiple projects in his kitty. The actor, who shot to fame with his performance in Dada, has already signed two films with promising directors Elan and Sathish. But the latest buzz is that he has bagged a biggie with none other than Mari Selvaraj, the critically acclaimed director of Karnan, Pariyerum Perumal and Mamannan.

Sources close to the development have revealed that Mari Selvaraj has roped in Kavin for his next film, which will be a social drama with a strong message. The director is currently busy with his upcoming film Kabaddi, starring Dhruv Vikram, which is expected to release by early 2024. After wrapping up Kabaddi, Mari Selvaraj will start working on the Kavin project, which will be produced by a reputed banner.

The sources also added that Kavin has another film in his pipeline, which will be produced by Nelson Dilipkumar, the director of Doctor and Kolamaavu Kokila, and directed by his associate Sivabalan. The film will have Priyanka Mohan, as the female lead. Moreover, there are reports that Kavin has also signed a film to be directed by Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, who is making his debut as a filmmaker.
