Dhanush is engaged in a variety of different projects at once, including a trilingual film with director Sekar Kammula. The latest update has that the Vaathi team has set a new premiere date for the film. Additionally, Dhanush is currently filming his next movie, Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran.

The initial release date  for Vaathi was set for December. Now the makers have pushed the premiere to the 17th of February in need to make some post production retouches. An additional report claims that the Summer release of Vaathi will cause a box office collision with Ponniyin Selvan 2, which is scheduled for April 28. Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, and Hareesh Peradi all had significant supporting roles alongside Dhanush in the film.

Vaathi directed by Venky Atluri, the film's score was composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and J Yuvraj was in charge of the cinematography. Dhanush stars as "Balagangathar Tilak," a sincere and action-packed educator, in the film which is an action-packed movie that tells the story of Balagangathar Tilak and his quest to put an end to the wrongdoings of bad businessmen in modern education

Together with Ms. Sai Soujanya's Fortune Four Cinemas, the film will be produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi's Sithara Entertainments. Srikara Studios is presenting the movie.According to the rumours circulating around town, Dhanush has also joined the cast of H Vinoth's upcoming project.
