In a surprising turn of events, H. Vinoth, the acclaimed director of films like ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ and ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, has roped in Dhanush for his next project, after his collaboration with Kamal Hassan fell through. The film, which was earlier titled ‘KH 233’, was shelved as Kamal Hassan was not satisfied with the script and the development of the film.

According to sources, H. Vinoth approached Dhanush with a revised version of the script, and the actor was impressed by the story and the character. The film is said to be a thriller with a military backdrop, and Dhanush will play a role that is different from his previous films. The film is expected to go on floors in April, and the cast and crew details will be announced soon.

The film is reported to be bankrolled by Seven Screen Studios. Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy shooting for his film with Shekhar Kammula, the Telugu director who is known for films like ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Fidaa’. The film, which is tentatively titled ‘D 51’, is a bilingual project that will mark Dhanush’s second debut in Telugu cinema. The film started rolling a few weeks ago, and the makers are planning to release it by the end of the year.

Interestingly, some fans are speculating that the film that Dhanush is doing with H. Vinoth might be the same one that was dropped by Kamal Hassan. However, there is no official confirmation on this, and it remains to be seen if the film will have any similarities with the original script of ‘KH 233’. Whatever the case may be, fans are eagerly waiting to see Dhanush and H. Vinoth team up for the first time.
