Sundar C’s horror-comedy franchise ‘Aranmanai’ has been a huge hit among the Tamil audience, with three successful films released so far. The fans have been eagerly waiting for the fourth instalment, which has been in the making for a while. Now, the makers have finally revealed the release date and the first look poster of ‘Aranmanai 4’.

The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Benzz Media, one of the makers of the film, announced that ‘Aranmanai 4’ will hit the screens on Pongal 2024, along with a poster featuring an eerie background of the haunted house behind a mysterious woman with her kids. 

‘Aranmanai 4’ is directed by Sundar C, who also helmed the previous three films in the series. The film also stars  Sundar C, Tamannaah, Raashi Khanna, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Singam Puli, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, JP, Vichu, KGF Ram, Seshu, Santhosh Pratap, Dheeraj Vishnu Ratnam, S. Namo Narayanan, Mottai Rajendran and others in supporting roles. 

The film music by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, the cinematography by Isaki Krishnasamy, and editing by Fanny Oliver. The ‘Aranmanai’ franchise is known for its blend of comedy, horror and glamour, with a star-studded cast and a twist in the climax.

The first film was released in 2014, followed by the second film in 2016 and the third film in 2020. All the films were well received by the audience and the critics, and also performed well at the box office. The fans are hoping that the fourth film will live up to the expectations and deliver another entertaining and thrilling experience.
