Reputed actor Rakul Preet Singh has tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection on Tuesday and said she is feeling fine and requested everyone those who have come in direct contact with her to get tested.
She shared the news on social media that she had contracted the viral infection. Taking to Twitter, Rakul Preet Singh said, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling well and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and please stay safe".
The announcement had shocked her fans with many taking to social media and expressing their wishes to her for a speedy recovery. Recently, Rakul Preet Singh had appeared on the celebrity talk show Sam Jam Samantha, which streams on the OTT platform 'Aha'. The show is hosted by Samantha Akkineni and recently, Rakul Preet Singh had participated in the show along with director Krish Jagarlamudi.
Rakul Preet Singh has started shooting for Ajay Devgn directorial 'MayDay' ten days ago and movie stars Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Last month, Rahul Preet Singh had gone for a vacation with her family to the Maldives and she had shared several pictures on social media.
The actor was last seen in the Telugu movie 'Manmadhudu 2' and she still has many projects in the pipeline including Kamal Haasan starring Kamal Haasan, Sivakarthikeyan starring Ayaalan, Ajay Devgn's MayDay.
