'Thank you Dhanush': Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth replies to a tweet from Dhanush!

Nearly an hour after actor Dhanush tweeted about his former wife Aishwaryaa, the latter has replied back to his tweet and expressed her gratitude for his wishes. For the first time since the separation, Dhanush has on Thursday tweeted about Aishwaryaa and he called her as his friend. Aishwaryaa has directed a music video 'Payani'. The video was released by Aishwaryaa's father, Superstar Rajinikanth and she has been flooded with wishes from her fans and fraternities.

Surprisingly, her former husband Dhanush has wished her too! Taking to Twitter, Dhanush wrote, "Congrats my friend Aishwaryaa on your music video Payani. God bless." His tweet has turned heads and has been going viral as it was his first apparent tweet mentioning Aishwaryaa. He also shared the link for the music video.  

Replying to his tweet, Aishwaryaa wrote, "Thank you Dhanush...Godspeed." Her tweet has been going viral. While their separation has shocked the fans, the duo has been staying as friends and co-parenting their children. On January 17, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had announced their split-up, which had stunned everyone across and beyond the borders.

After ending 18 years of togetherness, Dhanush wrote, "The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting." "Today we stand at a place where our paths separate...Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better", Dhanush added. 

After the separation, neither of them had spoken publicly about their split-up and got busy with their respective projects. Now on Thursday- March 17, two months after announcing their separation, Dhanush has mentioned Aishwaryaa in his tweet for wishing her on her new music video. 

On Thursday, Rajinikanth has released 'Payani' music video. Taking to Twitter, the Superstar wrote, "Happy to release #Payani music single directed by my daughter Aishwarya, who is back to direction after a long gap of 9 years. I wish you the very best always Aishwarya...god bless...love you." Several thespians including Mohanlal, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arjun had expressed their wishes for Aishwaryaa and for the Payani team.
