One of the veteran Tamil film producers K Rajan, who is known for spurring controversies through his speech, had for yet another time proved to stay on his track of igniting controversies through his fussing statements. Recently, while addressing the audience in an event, he reportedly pulled the important names in the industry as his ingredients for his controversial recipe.

In his address, he fiercely criticized directors Gautam Menon, Selvaraghavan and actors Kamal Haasan and Dhanush. He heated the stage by accusing these men of destroying Tamil cinema and the producers and by claiming that the production council in Andhra Pradesh remains powerful that no Telugu directors and actors can quake the council, he slammed the Tamil directors and actors for shaking and destroying the grounds of producers and their companies.

He accused Selvaraghavan of demeaning and degrading the producers and he quoted the movie 'Aayirathil Oruvan' directed by Selvaraghavan for justifying his notion on how the director had collapsed the producer of that movie. While speaking the directors, he stated that many directors either spoiled the families or intended to destroy the families. By denying that he is not targeting all the directors, he said that 'the directors must think about the wellbeing of the producers, who invest crores for the movies and stated that the battalion of current age directors wishes to think about the actors and the actresses than the producers.

He urged the directors to direct good and quality movies for the audience without having indecent pictures and he quoted the recent Dhanush starring 'Enai Noki Paayum Thota' and claimed that audience can't able to tolerate the movie in its first half and blamed Dhanush and the actress for acting in the movie with fewer dialogues and more romance.

He coherently accused Kamal Haasan and Dhanush of spoiling the cinema industry for acting in the movies that would demean the audience and society. While blaming Dhanush, he lauded 'Asuran' movie for picturing the prevailing societal issue and along with that, he pointed out the movie 'Kaithi' starred by Karthi. He cited that these two movies had given a huge hit for the producers and called on the directors to present such movies in the place of presenting the embarrassing ones.
