The reports say that the accused were employees in a resort and they were running a homestay in the area. The authorities are in the process of remanding the three accused. 

The Kerala Forest Department stated in Twitter that it has zeroed on the culprits and recorded the first arrest in the wild elephant death.

The destruction and annihilation of woods had made wildlife more vulnerable today to travel miles in search of food and the same destruction would possibly make us vulnerable tomorrow.
