The announcement has made Master, which is the first big release in Tamil Nadu after the lockdown, become the movie to get released on OTT in a short time while it has been running in thousands of theaters. 

"Master", a Tamil action thriller film starring ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on January 29, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. 

The announcement about the movie was made last month with Sun Pictures releasing a video to reveal that Nelson Dilipkumar will be directing Vijay.

The achievement in ten days would be a remarkable moment for the movie team as they waited nearly for ten months to screen the movie in the theaters. 

The milestone of being a successful grosser in the Gulf country had perfectly captured how the movie was given a royal welcome than the Hollywood movies.

Vijay had come to the theater to watch the 'Master' movie along with his fans and the video of his entry into the theater has been getting rampantly shared by his fans on social media.

Master has been shining both as a commercial entertainer and as a perfect Pongal treat to Vijay fans and to the theaters.
