The agency has raided several former ADMK ministers under various corruption charges and in the latest episode, two former ADMK ministers SP Velumani and C Vijayabaskar have come under the scanner.

The DVAC has filed a fresh case against Velumani and his relatives under the grounds of disproportionate assets and his close associates have been brought under the scanner. 

The raids had immensely shocked the ADMK as the party has been facing back-to-back ordeals from all directions after a debacle in the assembly polls. 

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the ADMK leadership has formed a six-member legal committee to support the partymen in fighting the cases levied by the DMK.
