After a legal battle, he was taken to Kauvery Hospital as he was advised to undergo a bypass surgery. He has been under observation from a team of doctors.

After visiting the hospital, sessions court judge Justice Alli has directed to take Senthil Balaji under judicial custody till June 28.

While it was initially reported that the minister would be in the hospital for two to three days, the advice for bypass surgery would extend his hospitalization. 

Besides sharing a picture, MK Stalin had also come down heavily on the ED by stating that the central agency has harassed Senthil Balaji, though he agreed to cooperate with the inquiry.

Our sources say that the minister needs to be in hospital for two to three days and his faction is beefing up preparations to approach the court to curb ED from arresting him.
