Amid celebrations, the farmers have affirmed that they won't end their protests until the laws are completely repealed in the upcoming session of the Parliament.
However, BJP has backed Patel and claimed that the protests were a result of Patel's efforts to end corruption involving local politicians and pour developments in the islands.

A senior leader of the protesting unions said, "We welcome the court's order to stay the implementation of the farm laws, but we want a complete repeal of these laws".
The apex court bench headed by Chief Justice of India S A Bobde had expressed its disapproval that the Center had brought the laws without proper consultation.
