Sajeevan, who runs the Nilgiri Furniture World in Coimbatore, is believed to have had easy access to the Kodanad bungalow as he had supplied furniture to the estate. 

The police team had grilled Sasikala with the questions about the documents and valuables that were robbed from the Kodanad estate and the officials said that she was cooperating.

While speaking to the reporters after interrogation, Sasikala said, "I have responded to the questions that were asked since the morning. The interrogation isn't over yet and it will continue tomorrow."

The summon to VK Sasikala has come days after the probing team had interrogated former ADMK MLA Aarukutty for nearly ten hours in connection with the case.

The judicial bodies had given a go-ahead for the Tamil Nadu police to investigate the case and with the green signal, the state enforcement agency has intensified the probe and trace out the witnesses.

Tamil Nadu police had formed special teams to re-investigate the deaths of prime suspect Kanagaraj, the wife and children of Sayan, and the suicide of computer operator Dinesh Kumar.
