The School Education Minister and the state government have till now shown no signs of reopening the schools in the state.

Dharmendra Pradhan, the new Education Minister, has taken to Twitter on Monday and said that NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on September 12th across the country following the Covid-19 protocols.

According to reports, the city has reported no deaths in the last 24 hours and it has joined the club of 20 districts with zero Covid deaths on Sunday. 

The spread at the time of crisis had worried the Kerala state health authorities and they had begun taking measures to tackle the outbreak.

Thiagarajan said that the state government would bring out a white paper on the financial state of Tamil Nadu prior to presenting the budget for the year in the assembly. 

The city had encountered a similar setback weeks ago and it is under imperative need to acquire an adequate amount of vaccines as it is getting back to normalcy.

The statement from the minister has come after holding a discussion with the vice-chancellors of the universities in the state. 

A survey conducted by LocalCircles, a citizens forum active in India, has revealed that Tamil Nadu is the best among the 17 states, in the survey, for its handling of the second wave.

The revelation has showered more light on the state of children in the rest of the country who were hit by a similar ordeal. 

In a similar incident last week, a 51-year-old man in Odisha was administered two doses of COVID-19 vaccines on the same day.
