As the long wait is almost over, the fans are thronging to the stadium to witness the comeback of Dhoni as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is taking on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at 7.30 pm on Monday. 

Legendary cricketer MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings, which is one of the successful teams in the IPL, will take on the defending champions Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday evening. 

While fans wish to see Dhoni, roaring on the field for more years, they tend to acknowledge whatever comes up from Dhoni's camp. And if IPL 2023 could be the last season for Dhoni, how could the legacy be for the sport?

Playing for his home state Maharashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Uttar Pradesh on Monday - November 28, Ruturaj has also scored a double century and ended his innings as a top batter for his side.

Though the CSK management strongly asserted its association with Dhoni, the latter's journey is expected to change after IPL 2023.

The current drive for releasing and retaining the players has become the talk of the town as it was closely watched by the fans.

For his splendid performance in bat and ball, Chennai's son of soil Ravichandra Ashwin was conferred with the Man of the Match award as he took his team Royals to the victory.

Though they are still at the bottom of the table, MI had a respite by defeating the CSK and paying the latter back for their defeat in the previous match.
