With the clear majority in hands, Mann has on Wednesday taken oath as the next Chief Minister of Punjab. The oath was administered by Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit.

Mann, the former actor, is all set to become the Chief Minister of Punjab as Aam Aadmi Party has recorded a landslide victory in the state by ousting the Congress rule. 

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that he humbly accepts the verdict from the people and expressed his gratitude to the Congress workers for their hard work and dedication.
