PMK is going to contest in the upcoming polls in the state ruling ADMK alliance. PMK will be directly contesting in 23 seats, mostly in the northern districts.

On Friday, the ECI has announced that Tamil Nadu will go to the polls on April 6, 2021, and the results would be announced on May 2, during which the state will know who will be the next Chief Minister.
