Mishra was produced in a Delhi court. The Delhi police had sought three-day custody of Mishra for investigation. However, the court denied police custody and sent Mishra to a 14-day judicial custody.
Had the returned Air India flight landed in Kyiv, it would have become the second special flight from India to bring back the stranded Indians in Ukraine.
Ratan Tata wrote, "Tatas will have the opportunity of regaining the image and reputation it enjoyed in earlier years. Mr JRD Tata would have been overjoyed if he was in our midst today."
