The agency has raided several former ADMK ministers under various corruption charges and in the latest episode, two former ADMK ministers SP Velumani and C Vijayabaskar have come under the scanner.

The latest order in favour of EPS has also bestowed the tag of legality on the ADMK's General Council meeting that was held on July 11.

While both the leaders are hoping to have support from their community, the latest trouble that Sasikala is facing would put OPS in a setback, again. 

The state cabinet meeting was convened by MK Stalin on Monday during which it was decided to place the report before the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

Arukutty was one of the notable leaders of ADMK and his political switchover to the DMK is expected to significantly aid the latter in its growth in the ADMK's stronghold.

DMK has been assaying to build a strong base by breaking ADMK's citadel. Arukutty's switchover to DMK is expected to serve the party's objective in the west.

The volunteer movement will not be split, despite anyone's attempts. Regime-like behavior has no place in a party. Everyone needs to come together, and party defectors must come back.

The Edappadi side has been dealt a severe blow by this decision, whereas the O. Panneerselvam party is commemorated by lighting fireworks and giving out treats.

Maya Thevar was the one who picked the 'Two Leaves' symbol for the party and it later became a brand in Tamil Nadu politics, where the election symbols play a vital role in winning the polls.  

OPS is planning to reap the support from VK Sasikala and TTV Dhinakaran and he has called them to join his side for a strong pull in the tug-of-war to defeat EPS.
