Indeed, Surya's next picture has come up based on the true story and the teaser, that was released on Tuesday, had revealed the inspiring story that Surya would be presenting to his fans and audiences and the movie 'Soorarai Pottru' would certainly showcase the audacity of Surya.

Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara has joined hands with Surya and prepared to strike the screens again with the story that speaks about the real life of Air Deccan's founder and former Indian army captain G.R.Gopinath and Surya's 2D entertainment has grabbed the opportunity of filming such true and inspirational story. 

Sudha had seemingly decided to cover up the story of a versatile man and entrepreneur from her master Mani Ratnam. In 2007, Mani Ratnam had directed 'Guru' which is based on the story of Dhirubhai Ambani and it has become one of the notable movies in the career of Mani Ratnam and his then assistant director Sudha Kongara has now scripted the real-life story of Gopinath while Surya does the rest.

Coincidentally, Surya has dubbed voice for Abhishek Bachchan in Guru Tamil version directed by Mani Ratnam while for this time he came to the lead role to bring the story of GR Gopinath to the audiences through 'Soorarai Pottru' that was directed by Mani Ratnam's student Sudha Kongara and the teaser holds the testament that Surya will strike it hard and this would be the treat for Surya fans for this year.
