Surya Sethupathi, the son of the versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi, is all set to make a splash in the Tamil film industry with his upcoming movie Phoenix. The young star, who had a debut with cameo role as his father’s younger self in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, is now ready to take on the lead role in the action-packed thriller, directed by the renowned stunt master Anl Arasu.

The film’s poster, which was recently unveiled by the director, has already created a lot of excitement among the fans, who are eagerly waiting for more updates on the project. Phoenix is not only Surya’s first full-fledged role, but also Anl Arasu’s debut as a director.

The film is expected to showcase Surya’s acting skills and charisma, as well as Anl Arasu’s expertise in crafting thrilling action sequences.  Surya Sethupathi is not just limiting himself to the big screen, but also exploring the digital space with his web series Nadu Center, which is produced in association with Disney Plus Hotstar.

The web series is said to be a political drama, with Surya playing a key role. Moreover, Surya will also share the screen with his father, Vijay Sethupathi, in Viduthalai Part 2, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran.

The film is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Viduthalai, which starred Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Surya Sethupathi is clearly following his father’s footsteps, and carving a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry. With his diverse and promising projects, he is surely a star to watch out for in the future.
