Popular actress Trisha has aired a surprise announcement about her first web series that the shooting has been wrapped and it will be getting released soon. The series titled 'Brinda' would soon be available on OTT and she also shared her picture amidst the shooting. The update has left her fans ecstatic. Interestingly, Brinda would be the first Telugu web series of the actress.

Taking to social media on Tuesday - November 22, Trisha wrote, "And it's a wrap. Thank you to each and everyone who worked by, with, and for Brinda. Season 1 on its way...". In the picture she shared, Trisha can be seen standing before a police jeep. The Ponniyin Selvan actress has a handful of projects in her kitty including the Tamil movie 'The Road' and the Malayalam flick 'Ram' in which she will be starring alongside Mohanlal. 

The web series would be many-firsts for Trisha as besides being her first web series and first in Telugu, it is also the first time that she will be featuring as a police officer. Brinda is written and directed by debutant Surya Vangala while it is produced by Avinash and Ashish Kolla. The web series will also be dubbed in Tamil and other languages. 

While the release of season 1 of the web series is yet to be made official, it is confirmed that it will be getting released on Sony LIV. Shaktikanth Karthick composed the music for Brinda, and Dinesh K. Babu handled the camera for the series. In addition, Jay Krishna wrote the dialogue. Trisha last appeared in Ponniyin Selvan 1 by Maniratnam. She captivated audiences in her role as the Kundhavai princess with her powerful acting skills and classic beauty. Ponniyin Selvan 2 has been slated for a theatrical release on April 28, 2023.
