The town was in surprise treat as Dhanush, the versatile actor and National Award winner, has announced his new movie with Arun Matheswaran, who also the director of the upcoming period action adventure film Captain Miller. Fans and the film industry are abuzz with excitement as the dynamic duo prepares to unleash their latest blockbuster hit upon the world.

It's sure to be a game-changer, and audiences everywhere are eagerly awaiting for the further updates. Dhanush, who is known for his diverse roles and impeccable acting skills, has been busy with multiple projects in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

He is currently working on his second directorial venture, a multi-starrer tentatively titled D50, which will mark his 50th film as a lead actor. He also has a pan-Indian film with Tollywood director Sekhar Kammula and a Hindi film with Aanand L Rai titled Tere Ishk Mein.

Arun Matheswaran, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Rocky in 2021. His next film, Captain Miller, starring Dhanush in the titular role, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film is set in the 1930s and revolves around a rebel leader who fights against the British colonial rule.

The film also features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken and Edward Sonnenblick in pivotal roles. The teaser of the film, which was released a few weeks ago, has garnered over 30 million views on YouTube and the film is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on December 15, 2023.

The new film of Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran will be produced by Dhanush’s own production house, Wunderbar Films, which has delivered many successful films like Velaiilla Pattadhari, Naanum Rowdydhaan and Vada Chennai. The genre and the cast of the film are yet to be revealed, but sources say that it will be another exciting project from the talented duo.
