STR-ARR-GVM combo is back: Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu teaser is out! What does it promise?

A vibrant and ever-living combo of Simbu, AR Rahman, and Gautam Vasudev Menon is back to serve the energetic fans a big treat after many years. Thanks to the trio for coming together for the third time through 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', Simbu's next adventure after superhit Maanaadu. Recently, the posters of the movie were released and took social media into a storm over the actor's transformation. 

The posters with Simbu's unkempt look and with holding a pistol have been going viral, which increased the expectations for the movie. Days after the posters, the movie's teaser was unveiled on Friday - December 10 and the teaser, which runs for over a minute, has promised Simbu's dynamic comeback.  The teaser shows Simbu younger than Maanaadu and he featured a rural boy and the ambience and stunts had promised the best thriller as the combo has taken a break from serving romantic recipes. 

Previously, the Tamil Cinema industry and fans had enjoyed a treat from the combo through the movies 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa' and 'Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada'. Their reunion after five years had relished the fans as they pour good reception to the teaser of 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu'. The teaser was released on Friday afternoon and within hours, it has earned a wider reach. By the time of writing this content, it has garnered over 7 lakh views. 

On the other hand, the teaser has left no hint on when it will be released and according to reports, the shooting of the movie has been pacing up and the movie team may target Pongal 2022, and if hits the screen during Pongal, it will become another big movie for Simbu in two months. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is being made as an action drama film and the shooting of the movie has been held in various parts of the country. 

While the first and second schedules of the shooting were done in Tiruchendur and Chennai respectively, the third and final schedule has been underway in Mumbai. While the movie is bankrolled by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International, the movie is directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. Simbu plays the lead role and Kayadu Lohar, Raadhika, Siddique, and Neeraj Madhav had played important roles. While AR Rahman has composed the music, Antony and Siddhartha Nuni had done editing and cinematography respectively. 

Earlier, the movie was titled 'Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan' and then it was changed to 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu'.  Sharing the teaser on social media, Simbu put up a hashtag #JourneyofMuthu while Gautam Vasudev Menon took to Twitter and wrote, "Life is a beautiful highway!."
