The much-awaited audio launch of ‘Jawan’, was a star-studded affair. The event, held at Chennai's Sai Ram Engineering College, saw the presence of the lead actors Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, along with director Atlee and other celebrities from the Tamil film industry.
The highlight of the evening was Shah Rukh Khan’s speech, which delighted the fans with his sweet and humorous words. The Bollywood superstar, who plays multiple roles in the film, expressed his gratitude and admiration for the Tamil cinema and its legends.
Shah Rukh Khan greeted everyone in Tamil. He said, “Marana Mass Atlee! Attakasamaana Vijay Sethupathi!” "Choreographer Shobi made me dance like a mad man. I told him I can't dance like Rajinikanth or Thalapathy Vijay. I can't even dance like Atlee. But he made me dance a lot," he continue and also wished, "Insha Allah, hope we will be able to perform our best. And maybe, the people of Tamil Nadu will adopt us as their own."
He also praised his co-star Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the ruthless villain in the film, and joked about his dialogue on girls and revenge. He said, “Vijay Sethupathi spoke about girls and revenge. You can take revenge but you cannot take the girls away from me. They belong to me and now to Jaffer.” Jaffer is the name of SRK’s character in the film.
He then wished success for the film, which is slated to release on September 7, and revealed that Atlee was not only directing the film but also producing his own son Meer. He said, “Jawan will do well on September 7. While making the film, Atlee was making his own production, his son Meer.” The audience cheered and clapped for SRK’s speech, which showed his respect and love for the Tamil culture and cinema.
The Jawan audio launch event will be telecast on Sun TV on September 3. he film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Yogi Babu will be seen in supporting roles. Deepika Padukone will be seen in a cameo.The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander,
