Speaking for India: It's 'Mann Ki Baat' from MK Stalin as he launches a podcast for the first time!

For the first time since taking the realm of Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin jumps into the growing trend of podcast as he launched his political podcast series 'Speaking for India'. Stalin's move has come at a high time when he is emerging as a paramount leader in the unprecedented political coalition, formed by a slew of opposition parties to oust the Modi-led BJP regime in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. 

MK Stalin on Monday - September 4 has shared what appears to be a pan-India political podcast. Sharing the first episode of the podcast on social media, MK Stalin wrote, "Let's defeat the deceiving BJP and let's rescue India. #Speaking4India." He also wrote that the podcast series will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and even Hindi, the language against which the Dravidian movement is setting its political grounds. 

The first episode of the podcast runs for a little over eight minutes, in which MK Stalin walks us through the objective of his podcast and also boasts that his party DMK will play a vital role in national politics next year. Pressing the need for the united opposition bloc, he said that the opposition's INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) coalition must win the 2024 general elections to prevent the country from becoming Manipur and Haryana, which is burning in a fire fueled by the BJP's communal politics and its policies of triggering hate. 

Accusing the BJP regime of not fulfilling its poll promises made in 2014, MK Stalin has attacked the Modi government for its drive of willfully privatising the public sector undertakings including LIC (Life Insurance Corporation). He also slammed the centre for sowing the seeds of hatred in the minds of people and curbing the financial rights and autonomy of the states through GST and flawed allocation under the finance commissions. 

MK Stalin further took jibe against the Modi regime by alleging that the Modi model came to power by lying about the 'Gujarat model' and that it is going to end without a clear model. "After we shared a data satistically about the achievements done by Dravidian model, they (BJP) aren't speaking about Gujarat model now", MK Stalin added. The Chief Minister alleged that by destructing the public sector undertakings, they are helming a drive of handing over those undertakings to businessmen close to Modi.

"The interest of entire Indian people has shrunk to the interest of a few people. Air India, that once owned by the government, has now privatized, the airports and harbours in India are being handed over to private players. The standard of living of the poor people hasn't surged and to conceal these shortcomings, they have taken communalism in their hands", MK Stalin stated, adding that the violence that BJP sowed in Gujarat in 2002 has made the northeastern state of Manipur to burn. 

MK Stalin said, "If we don't stop them now, no one can save India. Whenever India's diversity, federalism, and people's rule are at risk, DMK has been on the forefront." He quoted Dravidian stalwart and DMK's founder CN Annadurai saying, "You should take the DMK as the spearhead of the opposition to the unitary nature." By recalling former DMK president Karunanidhi's unparalleled contributions to the party, Stalin said that DMK has created several Presidents and Prime Ministers. 

"Now, a social and historical responsibility is forthcoming. 2024 Lok Sabha poll is a general election which have to decide not who would form the government but who shouldn't. In the nine-year BJP rule, several abuses were spearheaded to destroy the states. We (Tamil Nadu) have been losing more funds and financial allocations that we deserve. The BJP regime hasn't given any special schemes to Tamil Nadu in these nine years", Stalin alleged. 

MK Stalin further said, "The real India is the country where Social justice, secular politics, socialism, equity, social harmony, state autonomy, federalism, and unity in diversity thrive. With the view of rescuing that kind of India, we have formed the INDIA coalition. This INDIA coalition is going to save India. If we have to stop the whole country from becoming a victim of BJP's hate politics like how Manipur and Haryana were victimized, INDIA coalition must win. The initial meetings of this alliance were held in Patna, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Let's save India, for that, we shall speak for India. This podcast will become not only the voice of MK Stalin but the voice of entire India."
