"The sound of Jawan"... Here's the first single from Atlee- Shah Rukh Khan's debut Jawan!

The first song from the highly-awaited film Jawan directed by Atlee has been released and it is a mass entertainer. Vandha Edam, sung and composed by Anirudh Ravichander, features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role of a cop and a charming dancer. The song is also the Hindi debut of Anirudh, who has composed music in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu for the film.

Vandha Edam is a celebration song that showcases the arrival of the king, as the lyrics by Vivek. The song has a catchy tune and energetic vocals by Anirudh, who is known as the Rockstar of Tamil cinema. The video song, which was released today, has already crossed 10 million views and is trending on social media.

The song features Shah Rukh Khan dancing with a group of women in front of a prison setup. The actor, who is making his comeback to the big screens after his last film Pathaan, looks stunning and charismatic in his dual avatar. He is seen sporting a casual and charming stunner, and a clean-shaven look and a colourful outfit as a dancer. His dance moves, choreographed by Shobi Paulraj, are impressive and energetic.

Jawan is an action entertainer that also stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. The film also has Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, along with other actors like Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Amritha and many others. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and is slated to release on September 7th, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
