Solar Eclipse 2019: Clouds diminished the excitements of PM Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to twitter and expressed that he couldn't see the Sun due to cloud cover in Delhi and his tweet has come at the time when many across the country are witnessing the decade's last Solar Eclipse that had brought the 'ring of fire' on Thursday morning which has been visible in many cities.

Since the wee hours of Thursday, several parts of the country like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Gujarat, Kerala, and Delhi had encountered the glimpses where the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth aligned in the same line and the Moon which hides the Sun from the Earth causes a 'ring of fire' as the Moon, due to its large distance from the Earth, is unable to cover the entire sun, leaving the outer edges of the Sun visible. The 'Annular Solar Eclipse' began at 8 am on Thursday and expected to last for about six hours.

The people in the state of Tamil Nadu have been eyeing the sky to notice the rare glimpse that would again be seen after 12 years and the phenomenal alignment was clearly seen in the districts like Madurai, Nilgiris, Dindigul, and Chennai and the prior advice has been issued to the people by the experts not to see the sun with the naked eye and they recommended the adequate mechanisms to witness the event as despite the Moon intersects the Sun, the sunlight would be severe that it would damage the eyes.

While most across the country have seen a glimpse of the ring of fire, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he is not fortunate enough to see the Sun due to the cloud cover. By expressing his state, Modi stated that he was enthusiastic like many Indians and cited that he came through the glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on a live stream and added that he interacted with the experts about the event.
