Sivakarthikeyan, the rising star of Tamil cinema, is all set to screen ablaze and stun fans with his new avatar in a patriotic drama produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India. The film, which is tentatively titled SK 21, is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made a remarkable debut with the crime thriller Rangoon.

As the fans are anticipating the first look of the Sivakarthikeyan starter which is expected to debut on 17th February, rumours are swirling that the film might be titled Porkonda Singam in Tamil, is inspired by a song from Kamal Haasan’s upcoming magnum opus Vikram, which is also produced by the same banner.

The film is based on the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories Of Modern Military Heroes, written by journalists Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The book chronicles the bravery and courage of Indian soldiers who fought against all odds in the crucial operation and mission in our nation's history.

According to sources, the film will showcase Sivakarthikeyan in a never-seen-before avatar as a military officer who faces many challenges and enemies. The film is said to be a gripping thriller with high-octane action sequences and patriotic emotions. The film also features a stellar cast of supporting actors and technicians, including music composer GV Prakash Kumar, who has collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time.
