Fans are in for a big surprise as the first look of his upcoming film SK 21 is coming very soon. This upcoming patriotic drama, which is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sony Pictures Films India and R Mahendran,  marks the second directorial venture of Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made a successful debut with Rangoon.

According to the latest updates from tinseltown, the makers will unveil the film's first look on February 17, coinciding with Sivakarthikeyan's birthday.  SK 21 is said to be a patriotic thriller, inspired by the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories Of Modern Military Heroes, written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. 

Reports also say that the Ulaganayagan may also do a brief cameo on this upcoming patriotic actioner. The veteran actor and producer is said to have a pivotal role in the film, which will be revealed in the first look.  ‘SK 21’ boasts of a stellar cast that includes Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu Prasath, Gaurav Venkatesh, Mir Salman and others.

It's worth mentioning that quite recently, the first look title teaser of ‘SK 21’ was recently screened for Sivakarthikeyan’s close friend and director Nelson Dilipkumar, who could not contain his excitement and took to social media to praise the film. He wrote, ‘Woah!!! Just saw #SK21 first look teaser!! It’s complete rage! Can’t wait for the world to see what you have made on this emotional journey @Rajkumar_KP big applause to team #SK21 !’

The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, production design by Rajeevan and action choreography by Stefan Richter. The film’s shooting commenced on May with a pooja ceremony attended by Kamal Haasan, who sounded the clapboard.
