The much-awaited action film starring Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar is gearing for the wrap up. The film is directed by Madonne Ashwin, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Mandela. Maaveeran is produced by Shanthi Talkies and distributed by Red Giant in Tamil Nadu. 

The latest sources says that the team behind the film is aiming for a release on July 28th, with Red Giant taking charge of the release in Tamil Nadu. Initially, the movie was planned for a Bakrid release on June 29th. However, the same distribution house Red Giant banner also releasing their movie Maamannan, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin on the same day, causing a change of plans.

The good news is that the shoot is almost complete, with only 10 days of patchwork left. The film promises to be action-packed, with four high-octane fight sequences that will take Sivakarthikeyan to the next level and turn heads for his fully fledged role. The music for the film was composed by Bharath Sankar, where the released first single became the chartbuster already.

Fans also to be treated with a unique surprise. There are also rumors that the legendary Kamal Haasan's voice might be featured in the movie as mind voiceovers. The actor's character in the movie will be listening to some voiceovers before reacting, and the team is planning to rope in Kamal Haasan for that voiceover.

Starring SK, Aditi Shankar, Yogi Babu, Mysskin, Sunil, Saritha, and others, where Vidhu Ayynna ahandles the cinematography and Philomin Raj took charge of the editing.  Sivakarthikeyan also has future projects, Ayalaan by R. Ravikumar,  and for the first time, an untitled film under 'Raaj Kamal Films International' by Rajkumar directory in his pipeline. This will be the 51st film of RKFI.
