Is Sivakarthikeyan to have Diwali clash once again with these two biggies? Here's what we know

Ayalaan is one of the most ambitious projects of Sivakarthikeyan, who has also lent financial support for the film. The film has been in the making for over four years, and has faced several hurdles due to its high budget and extensive VFX work. 

The latest talk is that the sci-fi film ‘Ayalaan’ is gearing up for a grand Diwali release in multiple languages, and is expected to clash with Dhanush starrer ‘Captain Miller’ as the latest sources says that the film's production house is eyeing for a Diwali release. And the Sivakarthikeyan starrer also to clash with Karthi's ‘Japan’ at the box office.

Ayalaan starring Sivakarthikeyan as an alien enthusiast who befriends a lost extraterrestrial, is directed by R. Ravikumar and produced by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under KJR Studios. The film was initially produced by R. D. Raja under 24AM Studios, but he backed out due to financial issues. 

The film was later revived by KJR Studios, who decided to cash in the shares of Raja’s productions. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The music is composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman, who has collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time.

The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.The film will mark Sivakarthikeyan’s second Diwali release after ‘Prince’, which faced stiff competition from Karthi’s ‘Sardar’ at the 2022 Diwali box office. The actor also have his next release Maaveeran with Madonne Ashwin, and a prestigious project with RKFI of Kamal Hassan.
