In a chilling piece of news, a 39-year-old woman in Tamil Nadu has killed her former lover and dumped the body parts near Chennai. The police have registered a case and taken the accused woman under custody while the officials are on lookout for three men, who helped the woman in murdering her ex-lover. 

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Jeyanathan, who was working as a ground staff with Thai Airways at Chennai International Airport. It has been reported that Jeyanathan had gone missing on March 18 and his sister Jeyakruba, who is a lawyer in the Madras High Court, filed a missing complaint. Based on her plaint, the Chennai police registered an FIR and launched a manhunt to find him. 

As part of the search, the police were examining Jeyanathan's call recordings during which the officials found that he was in a relationship with 39-year-old woman Bakkiyalakshmi, who is a native of Pudukottai. The police nabbed her and during the questioning, Bakkiyalakshmi has confessed that she has murdered Jeyanathan. 

She further admitted to the police that she killed Jeyanathan on March 18 when he had come to Pudukottai to meet her. After killing him, she chopped the body into pieces and packed them in a plastic bag. She later travelled to Chennai where she dumped the body parts in Kovalam on the outskirts of the city. 

It has been reported that Bakkiyalakshmi is a sex worker and Jeyanathan was her customer. They developed a relationship and Jeyanathan married her without the knowledge of his family. However, the duo got separated in 2021 and over a year later, she has murdered Jeyanathan. While the accused woman has been taken under custody, three men who helped her to kill Jeyanathan are on the run and the police have launched a manhunt.
