Vinayakan, the actor who played the merciless villain role in the hit movie ‘Jailer’, landed himself in a real jail kind of situation on Tuesday evening. The actor was arrested by the police for creating a ruckus at the Ernakulam Town North police station.

As per reports, the actor was in an inebriated state and started shouting and abusing the police officers. He also refused to cooperate with the investigation. The police then arrested him for disturbing the peace and obstructing the public servants from performing their duty.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical check-up, where he claimed that he did not know why he was arrested. He told the media that he had come to the police station to file a complaint He said, “I do not understand what is happening in this matter. I went to the police station to file a complaint. They have arrested me at the point of arrival. I'm already tired. They can say whatever they want about me."

The actor’s arrest has shocked his fans and colleagues in the film industry, who have expressed their concern and disappointment over his behaviour.
