In a shocking piece of news, a 50-year-old wife in Andhra Pradesh has beheaded her husband and surrendered to the police with his head, which was packed in a bag. The dreadful incident has happened in the Renigunta town of the Chittoor district. She had killed her husband amid the dispute that was escalated between them. The police have launched a probe and had taken her into their custody as the crime has startled across and beyond Andhra Pradesh. 

According to reports, 53-year-old Ravichandran and his wife 50-year-old Vasundhara were living in Bugga street in Renigunta town. The couple had a 20-year-old son who has been suffering from mental illness. Ravichandran was running a plastic box-making unit in the area and the couple was habitual in picking up fights with each other and their conduct was known across the neighbourhood. 

The fight and dispute between them had mounted for the last few days and it had eventually spurred an altercation where the couple had a war of words between them on Thursday - January 20. As the argument had grown, Vasundhara took a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband. She had then beheaded him after hacking him to death. 

The reports say after she beheaded her husband, Vasundhara put his husband's head in a black bag and left the house with his son. She then walked towards the local police station and surrendered before the officials. She has admitted that she hacked her husband to death following an altercation and the police officials were shocked to know that she has beheaded her husband. 

The visuals from the surveillance camera had shown that Vasundhara was walking with his son and with a black bag with her husband's head. Based on her confession, the police team headed by Renigunta Inspector Anju Yadav had reached Vasundhara's residence and recovered the body. They had questioned the neighbours about the incident and about the couple's dispute.
