Shocker from TN: A woman and her daughters commit suicide after killing their pet dog!

In a shocking development, a woman and her two daughters had committed suicide at their residence in Madurai and the incident had come to light on Monday and happened nearly four months after the demise of the woman's husband, who died due to health conditions. 

According to reports, they had poisoned and killed their pet dog first before they hanged themselves to death. The deceased were identified as Valarmathi (38) and her two daughters Agila (20) and Preethi (17). The reports say that Valarmathi's husband Arun was a building contractor and they were living in Trichy and two years ago, they got shifted to Madurai. 

They moved to Malaichamipuram village in Madurai where Valarmathi's sister Saraswathi was residing. Valarmathi's husband Arun was under medical treatments for a long time and he had breathed his last in July 2020. Valarmathi and her daughters were in deep mental distress after the demise of Arun. The mother and the daughters were in a state of depression and the consoles from their relatives couldn't lift up the depression.  

With the depression over the loss of Arun, the mother and daughters had decided to end their lives. They poisoned and killed their pet dog first and they hanged themselves to death on Sunday night. The shocking incident had come to light on Monday morning when Saraswathi's husband came to their residence. 

The incident was informed to the police and a police team led by Othakadai police inspector had rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to the Government Rajaji Hospital for autopsy. The police had recovered a suicide note written by Valarmathi in which she had asked her mother to take over the properties and jewels belong to them and she also wrote that Arun's family should not take part in their final rituals. 

Valarmathi had also written that all the properties were purchased by Arun through his own money and said that Arun's family should not be permitted to take the claim of the property. The police have been probing the case and according to reports, the police had said that Valarmathi and her daughters didn't receive any support from Arun's family after his demise.
