"She's got the glock"... Here's the fiery first look picture of the Lady Superstar from Jawan!

Nayanthara, the Lady Superstar of South Indian cinema, is all set to make a thunderous entry into Bollywood with her upcoming film Jawan. The actress will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the action thriller directed by Atlee Kumar, who is also making his Hindi debut. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.

The plot of Jawan revolves around a soldier and his posse of ladies going out to get revenge on the government for the soldier's perceived wrongdoings. Nayanthara plays a stylish and badass cop who wields a machine gun and chases the enemies. Her look from the film was recently revealed by Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi on their social media handles, along with the prevue of the film, which was released earlier.

The post reads, "She is the thunder that comes before the storm! #Nayanthara #JawanPrevue Out Now! #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

The prevue shows glimpses of the high-octane action sequences, stunning visuals and impressive performances by the star cast. The film is made on a massive budget of Rs 200 crore and has been shot in various locations across India. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has collaborated with Atlee for the first time.

Jawan is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and is expected to create a huge impact at the box office. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages on September 7, 2023, coinciding with Janmashtami. Jawan is not the only film that Nayanthara has in her kitty. The actress has several other projects lined up in different languages, such as Lady Superstar 75, Iraivan, and The Test.
