The grieving father, Vijay Antony, who is a composer, actor, and producer, turned to a platform close to his heart to express his profound grief. In a heartfelt note written in Tamil, he poured out his emotions, which is nothing but heart-wrenching, saying, "Dear hearts, My daughter Meera was a loving and brave soul. She has left this world for a better place, where there is no discrimination, greed, suffering, or hate,
"She is still with me in spirit. She is still talking to me. I died with her. I have now started spending time with her. She will initiate all the good things I will do in her name.Yours, Vijay Antony.”, added the composer. Meera's sudden and tragic departure left her parents, Vijay Antony and his wife Fathima, in a state of shock and devastation.
According to the reports, the police during further investigation found a letter in her room that conveyed her love and longing for her parents and friends. The letter was composed entirely in English and consisted of only ten lines. It read, “I love you all. Miss you all.” The police are examining whether the letter was a result of stress or a deliberate act of suicide.
