The sudden and untimely demise of Actor cum doctor Sethuraman had brought huge shock among the Tamil Cinema industry and the people who know and inspired by him. The top and second in line actors have lined up to pay their last respects to the deceased actor, who became familiar, despite having a less on-screen presence. 

He has appeared in not more than five movies but he had sat down for many interviews as a doctor and he was serving as full-time dermatologists in 'Zi Skin clinic' which was established by him in Chennai in 2016 and through his medical profession, he reached out to more people through Youtube channels and placed medical advises related to skincare and cosmetology.

While his profession kept him alive on Youtube, his passion for cinema had given him the space on the big screens. In 2013, he made his debut in Tamil Cinema by playing a lead role in comedy-drama movie 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' and he acted in the movie along with reputed comedian Santhanam and he lived up the passion that had brought him the success for the movie. Following the success, the term actor got added behind his name as one of his professions and he was better known as Sethu in the Tamil film industry and he went on to act in the movies like Vaaliba Raja, 50/50, and Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

Although he made back to back appearances, he efficaciously managed and balanced both his profession and passion. Moving forward towards passion, he also turned back to take care of his profession and in 2016, he installed the 'Zi skincare clinic' in Chennai and started spending his time mostly on the profession by keeping the friendship on the passion. The deceased doctor has observed close ties with actor Santhanam through which he acted with the latter in 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' and he played an important role that would be remembered as one of his successful movies.

Apart from the actor and doctor, he made live appearances to the schools and colleges across the state and being an interesting speaker, he took the prospect of his address to motivate the students on achieving in two different fields at the same time and he reiterated through his speech that one can definitely achieve at two different and un-magnetic fields at the same time and he told many times, that acting in cinema is a passion for him while a doctor has been the profession and he lived as a testament on how the people can manage and balance both opposite spheres successfully.

Once he quoted that he has become an example of achieving in two fields and he had grown to the level of providing salaries to 60 people who worked under him. On Thursday night, the actor cum doctor has suffered a cardiac arrest at around 8.45 pm at his residence and he was taken to the private hospital. However, he was declared dead. He was aged 37 and was surviving with his wife, whom he married in 2016, and a child. 

Condolences pour in from the reputed and notable faces of the Tamil cinema industry who paid their last respect to the actor. Santhanam took to Twitter and stated that "Totally shocked and depressed on the demise of my dear friend Dr.Sethu... May his soul rest in peace". The actors like Sathish, Jayam Ravi, Vishnu Vishal, Atharvaa, Prasanna, Sibiraj, and composer Anirudh had placed their condolences.
