Pakistan, regardless of flagging new approaches on uniting international voices against India on its unilateral move on Kashmir, had seen consistent failures over acquiring favorable voices to echo its claim on standing against India. Most of the nations, including Arab nations with whom Pakistan maintains closest ties, had left Islamabad isolated in its claim and had urged Islamabad to reduce the tensions between India through direct and bilateral talks.
With the motive of picturing the issue in the international forum, Pakistan had urged the United Nations Security Council to immediately meet up in discussing the troubling developments in Kashmir and with only international voice, China had echoed the statement of Pakistan to circle the council to table this important discussion, where the current chair of the UNSC, Poland had listed out the matter which had held under the grounds of informal meeting behind the closed doors.
The reports which droned the closed door session in New York had told that the majority members of the council had failed to admit and acknowledge the claim that has been furnished by Islamabad after Pakistan and its closest ally China had declined to rebuke India at the United Nations which had eventually kept Islamabad with tears and embarrassment.
Addressing the media after Pakistan had opened the chambers with row of failures, the Pakistan's permanent representative to the United Nations, Meleeha Lodhi had described the meeting as a testimony to upheld the fact that the region as an internationally recognized dispute while her Indian counterpart, Syed Akbaruddin had added that this informal meeting had reiterated the stand of Indian government where by leaving Islamabad alone, it had admitted that revoking special articles 370 and 35A of Indian constitution were entirely an internal matter of India.
With having the doors open for bitter failures on its international outreach, Pakistan seemed to be staying in the same path of reaching out to International leaders, where the reports say that, its premier Imran Khan had dialed to the US President Donald Trump, who oiled the controversy on last June by offering his willingness to mediate Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan, had now presented a different tone as he had seemed to be slipped away from his mediation offer, where he urged Imran Khan to reduce tensions with India over Jammu and Kashmir through direct and bilateral dialogues.
By denying his call for involvement, Donald Trump had pictured that he had rested the controversy that has been rotated around him after he stunned India by stating that the Prime minister Narendra Modi had asked his mediation over seven decades long Kashmir issue, which India had swiftly denied stating that no such request has been made and any possible talks on Kashmir issue will only be with Islamabad bilaterally by abiding Shimla agreement and Lahore Declaration and India had urged Islamabad to end its rooting of cross border terrorism to have possible bilateral talks.
The White house had stated that the two leaders had also held discussions on building its relationships with each other. Meanwhile, the closed door session of United Nations Security Council had neither been recorded nor aired live.
With turning the pages of embarrassment, the only option left for Islamabad is to table bilateral talks with New Delhi, which was clearly portrayed and urged by the International forums and its unclear whether Khan's administration will flag its direct talks with India by ending cross border terrorism. If Pakistan doesn't seem to have concrete dialogues, it will add more embarrassment and isolation to its history.
