Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has kept the ripple of excitement in witnessing popular actor R Madhavan's debut as a director. Madhavan has announced the project in 2018 at first and the movie's promotional works had received a good reception. There were high anticipations for the movie as it brings out the sensational story of former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongly accused as a traitor for leaking space secrets to foreign countries.

With the humongous scale of expectations, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect had a theatrical release on Friday- July 1 and in several reviews, the audiences are expressing a positive word of mouth with a good acclamation. As Madhavan's fans are celebrating the movie, let's take a look at how the film critics reacted to the movie,

Film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel took to Twitter and wrote, "SUBLIME biopic made on one of the greatest scientists of India. The film is profoundly engaging & informative. @ActorMadhavan EXCELS, did a phenomenal job on both the acting & direction front. Mr Nambi's legacy is inspirational & the injustice done to him was heartbreaking.

Another critic Rohit Jaiswal wrote, "Masterpiece, Rocketry makes you feel proud as an Indian, take a bow actor Madhavan. You did it, what a terrific story. Excellent execution." These critics have awarded a good rating for the movie and commending Shah Rukh Khan's quickfire role in the movie, a Twitter user wrote, "After 42 months, 184 weeks, 1288 days, 30898 hours, 1853901 minutes 111234082 seconds !! Watching Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen."

Actor Surya's cameo in the movie also gets a positive response for his instinctive performance. Industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai wrote, "If @Suriya_offl was mass and stunning as #Rolex in #Vikram, in #Rocketry he brings a touch of class playing himself. In fact, #Suriya is the man who unfolds the story of #NambiNarayanan’s trials and tribulations. His body language and voice modulation make us feel for Nambi!".
