Rajini's press meet amid the speculations - Will he announce the political entry?

Actor and political hopeful Rajinikanth is likely to make an important and crucial announcement regarding his political entry on Thursday at the first of its kind press meet that has been organized in a five-star hotel in Chennai and this press meet has been closely droned by the state political parties and it comes amid the multiple speculations lying on the fray about his political entry.

Earlier on Thursday, the district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram has assembled at the actor's residence in Poes Garden in Chennai and the reports say that the actor would have a second round of discussion with the district secretaries before taking the dais in the Leela Palace five-star hotel in Chennai for the organized press meet that has been scheduled at 11.00 am.

According to reports, the district secretaries said that they have been asked to attend the meeting, the second one in a week, at Ragavendra Kalyana Mandapam on Thursday. The secretaries speculate that he will be announcing the date of his political entry and his political episode would come at the high time when the state is just left with one year for 2021 legislative elections. The secretaries further stated that the leader hasn't hinted about the reason behind the press meet.

The reports highlighted that the announcement of the press meet had erupted the anticipations and rumors on the political launch as the actor has batted suspense as the only answer whenever he faced a question on his political entry. On Wednesday, Tamilaruvi Manian, one of the closest aides of Rajinikanth had met the actor in his residence and said that his meet with the district secretaries for the second time carries the significant move and added that the actor will reveal everything in the press meet on Thursday.

On March 5th, Rajinikanth has chaired the meeting of the district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram in Ragavendhra Thirumana Mandapam in Chennai during which he discussed further moves and agendas like strengthening the base in the state and to expedite the membership enrolment process and he divulged the secretaries that he will not the Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming elections. During the press meet after the meeting, Rajinikanth said that he is disappointed with one issue and claimed that he will reveal when the right time comes. Since Thursday morning, hundreds of fans and the members of the outfit had gathered before his residence eagerly waiting to hear from the actor, their Thalaivar (leader).
