Actor and still political hopeful Rajinikanth's recent order to his fans has landed them on the state of perplexion, leaving them to raise a collective question of 'Will he ever enter the electoral politics?', with some of them had expressed disappointment and upset that their hope on their favorite actor's political stint is diminishing, as the actor hasn't sent any signal of his entry ahead of the state assembly polls.
Recently, talk about Rajinikanth's political entry had come to the spotlight after his fans and members of the Rajini Makkal Mandram had carried out the poster campaigns across the state in which they pressed the actor to enter politics and to call for the revolution as vowed by the star. The poster that read, "If not now, then never" was pasted across all the corners with major expectations from the fans and members that Rajinikanth would enter the politics post COVID-19 lockdown.
The fans, who still carry hope on the actor, have been vying to initiate politics after the lockdown. However, the recent order from the head of Rajini Makkal Mandram had shown that the expectations of fans won't happen in the near future. The order from Makkal Mandram had directed the fans and members not to paste such posters and further castigated them not to carry out such activities without the consent from the leader.
The order to avoid such a campaign of calling for revolution as vowed by the actor had poured more confusion on the fans and members and they have pressed the question of what they have been asking for two decades - Will he come to politics or not? According to reports, following the order, a functionary of his outfit said that the actor had called for the political change now and if not now it would never happen.
Following his call, the members had wanted to create a revolution among the people and raise awareness of the importance of a political change in the upcoming assembly polls. The functionary further stated that apart from the campaign, the workers of Rajini Makkal Mandram had distributed face masks with the actor's slogan - if not now, then never. After the government has eased the restrictions, the members had pasted the posters to invite their leader to politics.
However, their drive had caught with a reprimand after the leader of the outfit had asked not to put up any such posters and many had raised a question what's the actor's plan. As the order had confused the fans, they have been losing their hope that Rajinikanth will start a political party ahead of the assembly polls and they have also expressed disappointment that the actor's entry won't be happening in the near future.
According to the members of the outfits, Rajinikanth's priority currently lies in completing his movie 'Annathe'. The movie is under production and the actor has to spend at least 30 days on shooting and some more days for the post-production works which drives to the conclusion that there is no chance that the actor would be making a political announcement till February next year. Some of the reports suggest that if Rajinikanth misses the next assembly polls, he would less likely be turning as a politician.
