Days after breaking the suspense and bringing a long wait to an end by announcing his political plunge, actor and political freshman Rajinikanth has been camped in Bangalore during which the superstar is expected to discuss his political entry with his friends and with political leaders in the BJP ruling state.
According to our sources, Rajinikanth had reached Bangalore on Sunday, in what has become his first inter-state travel after announcing that he would be launching the political party by January 2021. The sources said that the superstar would be staying in Bangalore till December 14th and he would be spending time with his elder brother Sathyanarayana Rao, who is living in the city.
During his week-long stay in the electronic city, Rajinikanth would be meeting his friends and political leaders to seek their advice and opinions on his decision of taking the political plunge. On Sunday, he sought blessings with his elder brother ahead of his political entry and the superstar would be celebrating his birthday with Sathyanarayana Rao. Rajinikanth will be celebrating his 70th birthday on December 12, which in a way would become the first birthday as a political freshman.
Rajinikanth had on December 3 brought an end to the political drama after he announced that he would be launching his political party on January 2021 and he would be making an official announcement concerning his political party on December 31, 2020, three years after he announced to his fans that he will be entering politics. By making the major announcement of launching a political party by next month, Rajinikanth has asserted that he would be contesting in the upcoming assembly polls.
However, the question of the alliance is still unanswered which stirred speculations after the Tamil Nadu BJP unit and ADMK party have been mulling to form an alliance with the superstar while Kamal Haasan can't be written off from the possible alliance that Rajinikanth has been framing in his mind to contest in the polls. Rajini's announcement had sparked mixtures of responses from the political leaders and when the BJP and ADMK leaders had welcomed the actor's decision of entering the politics, the opposition leaders from DMK and Congress had made statements against the actor.
He made the announcement of taking a political plunge last Thursday and vowed that time has come to change the fate of Tamil Nadu. Speaking to reporters from his Poes Garden residence in Chennai, the political freshman said 'I am ready to give my life to the people of Tamil Nadu. A political change is extremely essential at this hour. If it is not done now, it will be never done. We should change everything. I request with folded hands to those who had made my livelihood, to stand by me". The superstar said that the party work has already been started.
Rajinikanth had named former TN BJP leader Arjuna Murthy as his party's chief co-ordinator and his closest aide Tamilaruvi Manian as the party's manager. It has been expected that he would be turning his outfit Rajini Makkal Mandram into his political party and he would be expediting his political works after returning from Bangalore.
