Rajinikanth, the superstar of the Indian Cinema, had celebrated his 71st birthday on Sunday - December 12. With no dubiety, the celebrations were rampant among the fans across and beyond Tamil Nadu and hundreds of fans had gathered before his residence in Chennai to express their wishes for the actor with an ever-lasting vibrancy. Rajinikanth had celebrated his birthday with his family members and the pictures of his cake cutting have been going viral on social media.
Besides celebrations, there was a major announcement from Rajini's camp that took everyone's attention as the superstar is going to aid a hundred students in Tamil Nadu for their state-level examination. According to reports, Rajini Fan Clubs convenor VM Sudhakar has said Rajinikanth Foundation will train 100 students from poor and marginalized sections of the society to prepare them for the group level exams conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).
Sudhakar added that this initiative of helping the students will be administered by advocate M Sathya Kumar and the announcement was made on the occasion of Superstar's birthday. The reports say that Rajinikanth's initiative of aiding the students has been a first-of-its-kind and is being commended by his fans and followers. The 71-year-old septuagenarian has celebrated his birthday with his wife, his elder brother, his daughters, and his grandchildren.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has spoken to Rajinikanth over the phone and offered his wishes. In a statement, Stalin wished Rajinikanth a healthy life and to continue his indomitable screen presence to entertain people for several more years. Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi Palaniswami had also wished the superstar and besides the state leaders, national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi had extended their birthday wishes.
The Prime Minister took to social media and wrote, "A very happy birthday to @rajinikanth Ji. May he keep inspiring people with his creativity and phenomenal acting. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life." Thanking the Prime Minister for his wishes, Rajinikanth took to Twitter and said, "My most respected, honourable Prime minister Shri. @narendramodi Ji, I convey my heartfelt thanks for your warm wishes on my birthday." The Superstar has also thanked Chief Minister MK Stalin for his heartfelt wishes.
