Although the recent press meet of Rajinikanth has apparently shown that the actor and still political hopeful won't be launching his political party unless the state spur up the revolution to bring the change, he has been revolving with the political spotlight that levied on him after the statements he aired during the organized press meet.
Rajinikanth took the podium in Leela Palace five-star hotel in Chennai on March 12th amid multiple speculations from his fans, the media, and the people across the state. He took the prospect of the press meet not to launch his political party but to layout three key plans for his future politics and to dot up the debates erupted after his meeting with the district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram. His suspense on the launch of the political party has disappointed his fans and the suspense became reminiscent of how the actor batted the political ball thrown against him previously.
Through his speech, he pressed that he would launch a political party but this time he added revolution as an additional ingredient to cook his party - making it apparent that his political recipe won't be ready for the 2021 legislative elections. One of the key plans that he rolled out was to have different people for the post of the Chief Minister and the party leader. He said that most of the regional parties had the same persons enjoying the power both in the party and in the rule and no one can question them. By claiming that this has to be changed, the actor asserted that he will only be the party head and act as the opposition to the government and he won't be the Chief Ministerial candidate.
Adding to that, his other important and key plan is to constitute the political party that has been filled up with the people of less than 50 years of age including women and these people would be accounting for 60 to 65% in the party while the rest would be filled up with the IAS and IPS officers and the people who join his camp from the other political parties. It was this plan that had disturbed the top political parties in the state - ADMK, and DMK as these two parties have more displeasure and discontent leaders in their respective camps who, after Rajini has launched his party, would be joining with the superstar to carry on their politics that would be against of the current ruling and opposition parties.
Our sources say that ADMK and DMK have many leaders who were denied with the prospects of contesting in the elections and these leaders would be joining Rajini in his camp and one of the important leaders who would be switching the side is Karunanidhi's son and Stalin's rival MK Alagiri, who was once the face of DMK in southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Alagiri and Rajini observe close relationships and Alagiri would be backing and supporting his friend on the political grounds. Along with Alagiri, Karate Thiyagarajan, who has been expelled from Congress party, would likely to join hands with Rajini. Our sources stated that despite the actor hasn't divulged when he will start the political party, many leaders who had expressed their displeasure have been eyeing to join with Rajinikanth.
Although the top parties of the state have criticized and voicing against his political party before the cameras, they have been more anxious behind the screens as the actor's political party would collapse the existing vote bank in the state that would weaken the strongholds of the decades' old parties and the leadership of both ADMK and DMK has been attempting to pacify the leaders of displeasure to ensure that they stay on the same ship and not divert their direction towards the newly-engineered one that would be captained by Rajinikanth.
