It has already been officially announced that Telugu icon Mahesh Babu would collaborate with SS Rajamouli, a magnificent director who has crafted blockbusters. His most successful movie 'RRR' shattered records at the box office and continues to dominate top OTT platforms. 

While there were rumours that the director will recreate history by collaborating with Mahesh Babu on a Baahubali-style movie, he recently announced details of his upcoming project. The director has opened up that it will instead be in an adventurous genre. Since he made the announcement, the fans are gazing at the movie with more expectations.

Currently, Mahesh Babu is on an outing with director Trivikram Srinivas for the action movie tentatively titled 'SSMB 28'. The shooting of the movie began recently and before joining this project, it was already announced that Mahesh Babu will collaborate with SS Rajamouli after this SSMB 28. Recently, Rajamouli was invited to participate in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where a few of his films were screened.

Speaking at the event, the  RRR director said, "My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!" The reports say that the budget for SS Rajamouli's project is soaring since he intends to make it bigger than any of his past works. 

There will be tremendous computer graphics work, and the director has assembled a special team specifically for it. Since the director's followers are aware of his love of forests, the movie will be set in a dense forest. The shooting of this humongous project would probably start in May 2023 and it has been billed as an African jungle adventure. Mahesh Babu's last movie was 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' and he acted alongside Keerthy Suresh in this 200-crore-grossed blockbuster.
